One month = One book

An initiative to raise the language level, promote reading, books and writers

Each of the meetings has its particularity and that of July 31 was that of the discovery of the author of a detective novel.
Started as usual with a presentation of each of the people present, this meeting of the month was made around “GUILTY JUDGE” by Danielle GONAÏ.
This book deals with life in a prison environment, more specifically that of Nick, a young painter student who, by pure chance, saw his life turn upside down.
The audience then gave their opinions and impressions to which the author was honored to respond with humility, clarity and precision.
One of the advantages you have at ONE MONTH ONE BOOK, is that questions during the session don’t go unanswered, unless you have kept them to yourself.
No one is better placed than the author to answer them.

Impressions of the author, at the end of the session:

“Last July 31 was a beautiful day. Not only by the clarity of the weather after the fine rains of the morning, but also by the realization of a beautiful meeting with the friends of the book club 1 month a book, outcome of an exchange with a magnificent and very sociable person. In 2 hours, everything was done. Since exchanges matured by an instinctively constituted team. There was a kind of magic that took place and divided the reader friends into two teams. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Of all my productions, never, until now, had I had the opportunity to have an exchange that was both productive, moving and so positive on one of my productions.
This meeting alone was an interview, a critique, encouragement.
A real panache!

It was with pleasure that I observed the seriousness, the innovative spirit and the very fun character of the club. A club to read, yes, but above all to laugh, to live. What balance! In addition, I found a feather brother there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this opportunity. To all the organizations that work for the survival of the book, to all those people who have found comfort in the pen, if you hear of an activity made by a month = a book, don’t hesitate. »
