SOUTH AFRICA: THE SCHOOL OF MARIMBA, a gateway to consider
The NGO EDUCATION AFRICA, offers a learning opportunity to children from disadvantaged backgrounds to not only have a passion but also to ensure them a path in music through Marimba lessons. These talents and this school became known during a festival where a group of girls interpreted the spring of the Four Seasons of Vivaldi. This performance flooded the web and allowed this social project and this NGO to show the importance it gives to the future of children after their high school years. “I fell in love with the Marimba, that’s what made me want to teach it. While teaching, I realized that a large number of students who live in informal housing need after-school care to stay busy. said Professor Thandeka Dlamini, who teaches the marimba to these teenagers.
